Over a 22 season career with the Cardinals, Musial was a three time MVP, three time World Series champion and seven time batting champion (lifetime BA .331, lifetime OPS .976). His 3,630 career hits ranks  fourth all-time. A supreme contact hitter, he struck out only 696 times, less than 5.5% of his plate appearances.
